DONATE TO BUDDY UP AUSTRALIA
By donating to Buddy Up Australia, you are helping Australian current/ex-service personnel and first responders to connect to their community through purposeful volunteering, physical and social activities.
Adjusting to life after leaving the service can be a challenge – so Buddy Up Australia has been created to lend a hand. Your donations are valued and needed to allow Buddy Up Australia to enrich the lives of service personnel.
LEAVING A GIFT IN YOUR WILL
We are grateful when people decide to include a bequest to Buddy Up Australia, but it is important you weigh up this decision carefully. If you’re contemplating leaving a gift to Buddy Up Australia in your will, please consider the following:
Family and loved ones should always come first.
It is relatively easy to do – you can add a clause to your will pertaining to your intended gift or add a codicil to an existing will.
We always recommend you seek advice from a solicitor when drafting your will as the wording is very important and your solicitor can advise you on different types of gifts.
It is an important step to talk to family and loved ones about your will. Communication will ensure your final wishes are carried out.
Give us the opportunity to say thank you. By telling us you have included a gift in your will we recognise you as investing in future supportive services that will help to support so many others.

Tips for using your scheme ID barcode when returning containers
Scanning the barcode
If your refund point has a barcode scanner, hold your phone close to the scanner then move it slowly away until you hear the beep.
Brightness
Make sure the brightness on your phone is up, this will help the scanner see your barcode.
Barcode doesn’t scan
Should your barcode not be able to be read, you can also use BUA’s scheme ID number (C10397510) at the refund point.
